
Two Memphis police officers arrested for drag racing

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Two off-duty officers were arrested this weekend by Tennessee Highway Patrol for allegedly drag racing.
According to court records, on Sunday just after 2 a.m., troopers noticed two Corvettes traveling eastbound on Winchester near Hickory Hill Road. According to THP, both drivers sped past the trooper and ‘braked’ when noticing THP.
The trooper then pulled over both vehicles. One driver, Albert Green says they were not drag racing.
Memphis police officers, Albert Green and Raphael Willingham were both charged with drag racing.
Memphis officials released a statement Monday:
Both officers have been relieved of duty pending outcome of investigation.
