Collierville Schools pick next superintendent

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Collierville Schools have selected the district’s next superintendent.
Dr. Russell Dyer was announced as the new superintendent in a Board of Education meeting held today, Dec. 21st.
Dyer will replace Dr. Gary Lilly, who announced his decision in October. His last day is Dec. 31st.
Dyer was one of five finalists who was interviewed for the job.
He has been the superintendent for Cleveland Schools in east Tennessee near Chattanooga.
Collierville Schools educate about 9,000 students.
