Quaker Oats adds more products to recall list due to Salmonella concerns

CHICAGO (AP) — Quaker Oats expanded its recall of granola products due to concerns of salmonella contamination on Friday, January 12.
The company originally issued the alert on December 15 but added more products to the recall alert less than a month later.
Quaker Oats said the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
The following products are part of the recall list. All were sold in all 50 states and have “Best Before” dates ranging from January 11, 2024 to October 1, 2024.
