MEMPHIS, Tenn. — At least two new restaurants are planned to open soon in Germantown.
Josephine Estelle + Rosie’s Tavern, an Italian-American restaurant from the chefs behind Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, Hog and Hominy, Catherine & Mary’s, and more, is moving into a new development at 6695 Poplar at Kirby
Rosie’s Tavern is a bar concept planned for the upper level of the restaurant. The building is in a new development called The Standard, replacing the old Carrefour retail center.
An exact opening date has not been announced, but staff training is going on now, according to the restaurant’s social media pages.
Meanwhile, Bain Barbecue opened its second location last week at 2016 S. Germantown Road just north of Poplar.
The new location features a drive-thru option for the popular Texas-style barbecue. The restaurant’s original location in Midtown will remain open.
