Grizzlies’ Ja Morant receives diagnosis after shoulder injury
By
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Grizzlies announced Monday that Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 AC joint sprain in his right shoulder following his injury sustained in Friday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The point guard is considered week-to-week. The team says further updates will be provided as appropriate.
Morant was knocked from the game when he was flattened by Pelicans center Daniel Theis’ hard but legal screen.
