MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man after he was identified by a life support victim as the shooting suspect.

On August 21, officers responded to a shooting call on Horn Lake Road.

When they arrived, they discovered that a male victim had been shot multiple times in the chest; he was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Upon further investigation, officers reviewed video footage that showed the victim being confronted by a male suspect. The suspect then pulled out a gun and fired at the victim in the chest several times.

On October 2, officers spoke with the victim, who had been on life support since August 21 after suffering gunshot wounds that barely missed his heart; the victim told police that a man named Keshawn Taylor was responsible for shooting him in the chest.
