MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis musician and rap superstar GloRilla continued her hot streak at the 2025 BET Awards.
GloRilla won the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for her song “Rain Down on Me”, featuring an appearance from gospel legend Kirk Franklin as well as Maverick City Music.
The song was featured on her 2024 album Glorious, which peaked at No. 5 on the US Billboard 200 Charts.
This win continues the rapper’s hot streak throughout 2024 and 2025, coming just months after the rapper won the award for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Awards back in March.
Earlier in the year, GloRilla announced plans for her first annual ‘Glo Bash‘ concert, scheduled for July 25, 2025, at FedEx Forum.
