Mobile food pantries delivering the goods throughout the Mid-South

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – With the holidays coming up, the Mid-South Food Bank is doing its part to help feed the hungry.
The organization is partnering with Feeding America to bring mobile food pantries to several locations in and around Memphis.
“A Mobile Pantry is a method of direct client distribution in partnership with an organization that acts as a host site,” the Mid-South Food Bank said on its website. “The Mobile Pantry utilizes refrigerated vehicles to provide nutritious food in a drive-thru setup.”
The pantry is open to those in need.
Anyone with an identification or proof of residency in the county and/or zip code of the distribution is eligible to receive the food, the organization said in a statement.

Thursday, Oct. 26
