Overnight emergency warming center to open at Hospitality Hub

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A warming center will be made available starting Tuesday night for those in need of a safe space out of the cold temperatures.
The City of Memphis will provide the space inside the Hospitality Hub from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 until 9 a.m. Jan. 10.
The Hub is located at 590 Washington Ave.
For those in need of ride to the Hub, MATA will provide transportation at no charge, call 901-297-1680 at 8:30 tonight to request a pickup.
City officials encourage those needing a full-service shelter to contact Union Mission (men only) at 901-526-4545 or the Salvation Army (women and children) at 901-260-9126 or 901-260-9104.
