Officials offer $10,000 reward for information in the death of Ole Miss football player Corey Adams

A $6,000 contribution from CrimeStoppers of Memphis adds to SCSO’s previous reward of $4,000.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The reward for any information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in the death of Ole Miss football player Corey Adams is now at $10,000 after a $6,000 contribution from CrimeStoppers of Memphis.

CrimeStoppers donation adds to the previous reward of $4,000 offered by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).

Adams, 18, was killed in a shooting that transpired a little before 10:15 p.m. outside of a home on Fern Glade Cove in Cordova, Tennessee, SCSO reported.

The situation unfolded after a pool party at the residence with over 100 people in attendance. At least 40 shots were fired as the party was wrapping up, according to officials from the Shelby County Sheriff’s office.

Adam’s celebration of life has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, at the Fifth African Baptist Church, located at 3419 S. Robertson Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Adams’ family launched a GoFundMe campaign to offer even more money to find one or more of the suspects responsible for his death.
