Evolve Bank CEO arrested at Poplar office

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The FBI has confirmed the arrest of Bob Hartheimer, the CEO of Evolve Bank, at the bank’s offices on Poplar Avenue on Thursday.
The arrest occurred as federal agents executed a search warrant at the Evolve Bank office, although the FBI has not disclosed the specific charges Hartheimer is facing.
Bob Hartheimer was named CEO of Evolve Bank and Trust in August. Evolve Bank has been under federal oversight for more than a year due to weaknesses identified in some of its programs by regulators.
