Mid-South father and author encourages other dads to stay supportive of their children

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Mid-South father spent the weekend inspiring and encouraging fathers to not take a second for granted with their children, no matter how old they are.
He said communities need fathers and father figures more than ever to protect children and improve many troubled communities in Memphis.
A simple trip to an adventure park was all 901 Nazcar said his daughters wanted from him. He said to him it was no simple day.
That day, he said, he wanted to remember every moment and he did so well that he made into a book. It’s a book he shares with other fathers who may not understand the important role they play in their child’s life.
“I want to reach every absent dad and I want to reach every amazing dad because loving fathers who provide support and unconditional love give the gift of comfort and high self-esteem,” Nazcar said.
Nazcar said Father’s Day should be a reminder of how important a father or father figure is in a child’s life. He said with the growing violence and concern for the youth, he not only wants to encourage men to be stronger fathers but strong mentors to others as well.
Nazcar said he saw his mentoring other fathers grow through his daughter’s school.
“They have most definitely been inspired by some of them growing up without a father, some of them growing up with the father,” Nazcar said. “So it’s most definitely touching the children throughout the school system also.”
