Officer injured in large fight at Crosstown Concourse

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One officer is injured and multiple people have been detained after a fight broke out at Crosstown Concourse on Tuesday.
At 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance inside of a business located at Crosstown Concourse.
While on the scene a large fight broke out and officers detained four people.
WREG has learned that one of the people detained was Shelby County General Sessions Court Clerk, Tami Sawyer.
Sawyer spoke briefly with WREG and said she was detained by police but did not say for how long.
Sawyer and another individual were released without charges and two remain detained.
An officer was injured and taken to Regional One in non-critical condition.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
