Third person dead after police chase ends in crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A third person is dead after a police chase turned ended in a crash Thursday night.
Around 5:03 p.m., officers attempted to stop a suspect vehicle; the vehicle sped off, leading to a police pursuit.
During the pursuit, the suspects’ vehicle hit several cars in the area of Hickory Hill and Knight Arnold before crashing into a pole.
Three people in the vehicle that crashed into the pole were killed. People say the car was stolen.
An officer was among five others that were injured in the crash. All were taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
