2 deputies smuggle drugs into jail, SCSO confirms

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – According to court documents, two deputies are facing charges after smuggling drugs into a penal facility.
Both Lillie Pittman and Joshua Williams were employed as SCSO correctional deputies and worked in a facility.
Documents show that Williams and Pitman are facing several charges, including bribery of a public servant, possession of contraband in a penal facility, and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and distribute.
SCSO has not confirmed whether Pittman and Williams are still employed.
